I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Rivian in Nov 2020
Interview
Interview consisted of three parts: One phone screen interview with recruiter, one phone screen with hiring manager, and then a panel interview that took 4 straight hours.
Overall, interviewers were very professional with a caveat. There were some very tough technical questions where interviewers wanted to check your familiarity with automotive engineering and whether you are a great fit for the role. However, I did encounter an interviewer who felt like she was asking questions which, as I looked back into this interview, was a free consultation session. I would be very wary of some of these interview questions, and never ever provide free consultation!
Extensive process that requires multiple stages, although very effective. Progressive methods and thoughtfulness was included in their process. Will recommend for any begineer, intermediate or experienced proffessional. Practise will help a lot
Not complex. HR screening followed by a series of one on one interviews. Nothing too technical. Hr screening covered the basics, salary, team. Rivian salary and total compensation was well below competition.
