Our interview process is set to ensure we hire people with the right fit from a variety of perspectives. This typically involves a skills test - when assessing the test results, we evaluate the thought behind a solution in terms of data structures chosen, complexity, coding style etc, as much as it’s raw functionality. For these reasons we sometimes see candidates fail the skills test stage despite the fact their code has passed all the automated unit tests built into each question.
