      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Rosetta Stone

      Interview

Imagine during a month long process being on your second interview for a position and being told that you’re moving on to the next round (not a “maybe” or “we will make a recommendation”). You’re even told who will be involved in next steps and who will set up the interview session. You get excited and begin preparing for the interview only to get a “Thanks for applying” email. Confused? I was. I left a voicemail for the recruiter and followed up with an email a few days later wanting feedback on what changed. All of this only to be told that my call wasn’t received and to get another HR "Sorry. Let's keep in touch" type email. I have never experienced this in an interview process before. If you’re hiring, please have clear and consistent communication between teams and applicants, be professional, and be active instead of passive.

Thank you for your feedback here and I apologize for the misunderstanding about next steps during the interview process. While our system does send automatic emails, I'm glad you had the opportunity to connect with your Recruiter directly as we do try to provide as much feedback as possible to all candidates. If you have additional questions, please feel free to reach out to me at rlarson@rosettastone.com.
