I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Ross Stores (New York, NY) in Aug 2018
Interview
Had about an hour phone call with HR then was invited for an in-person. They sent a schedule for the in-person because I would be interviewing with about 5 different people across departments. I arrived for the interview and met with HR for about 45 minutes then she went to get the next person. She came back and said that the entire department had a "planning emergency" and they would call to reschedule. I had taken the entire day off work because they told me to plan for about 4 hours of interviewing so I felt like they had wasted my time. She called me back a week later and said they had already chosen another candidate. Overall felt like it was rude and unprofessional for them to ask me to block off an entire morning to meet with them if they had no interest in even meeting me.
