I originally found a posting for a job fair on LinkedIn. I called the phone number to find out where it would be hosted and spoke with an HR rep. She was very nice and told me to come to one of their model homes. I watched a short presentation by that same HR rep at the job fair and then was able to get an onsite interview (you're supposed to sign up in advance, but someone canceled and I got in). I interviewed and was emailed shortly after, to fill out an extensive online personality test and logic/intelligence test. I also had to fill out an application online, with specific questions about my strengths & weaknesses. After that, I was called to schedule a 3 part interview with 2 managers & the Div. Pres. It was originally going to be 4 people and take 4 hours, so I was glad that it ended up only being 3 people/3 hours. They sent me an email describing the behavioral questions they'd be asking, to help me prepare. These were similar questions to the ones in the onsite interview at the job fair. Of course, none of the sample questions in their email were the ones they actually asked. The questions were things like, "Describe a time when you had to make a big decision. How did you make the decision and what was the outcome? Describe an obstacle you've had to overcome." It can be tough to think of examples on the spot, especially after hours of interviewing. In the end, I did not receive an offer. I suspect that I had too much experience and they really just want fresh-out-of-college kids that they can train their way. I could not get any feedback from HR on why I didn't get the offer. They just tell you that you don't fit what they're looking for. Good luck. It's a tough process.
