I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Ryan Homes
Interview
It was a phone interview first, and then a sit down with 2 managers. It was pretty cool, except I wanted to be a Sales Rep, I have the experience, but was told I needed more. Later found out that I didn't need more and they just lied to me.
I applied through other source. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Ryan Homes (Arlington, VA) in May 2015
Interview
I was interviewed by 2 people with less experience than myself. They were arrogant, rude and intimidated that I had made more money than the two of them. They asked me demoralizing and stupid questions, while looking back and forth at each other, with the appearance of sneering at me.
Very polite and helpful through the entire process. After submitting my application online I was contacted via email by an HR rep for an initial phone interview (about 15-20 minutes long), and then referred to an online test battery consisting of personality/behavior questions (~300), logical reasoning (~20) and numerical reasoning (~20). I was then invited to an office in the same region, though not the exact same location, as the opening (southern MD for a DC posting). The in-person interview consisted of three 45-minute interviews with three different individuals from the site, all involved in Sales in some capacity.
