The hiring process was relatively pleasant. I did a phone interview w/ the recruiter. Then I met with the director, then the hiring manager. They told me that was it, but then called me back in to meet with both the director and hiring manager together. I felt it went relatively smoothly, but they began asking questions more about my management abilities (which was not specified in the application, but I have a strong management background). The final verdict was that they took the position in another direction. They were very nice, and I can understand how tough it is to interview against other strong candidates.
