S&P Global interview questions

After applying online, I received a call by the recruiter and was able to schedule a phone interview with her. She asked about my current experience and what I've done so far in terms of course work. I was also asked why I wanted to work there and how I worked independently and in teams. Afterwards, I had to set up a time to speak with a member of the department I was interviewing for. The second interview was conducted on the next day; it was a technical interview in which you were asked several questions to test your knowledge on C++. I also had to bring up the various projects I had worked on both for school and during my own time; they were looking for how much you've coded and how enthusiastic you were. After it was done, I received a call the very next day and was given an offer.

Interview was conducted in three sessions. At the inperson interview, the first session was on Oracle PL/SQL. Interviewer gave a paper and asked to write code snippets. The second session was on Datawarehousing and Database concepts. This session was more oriented towards oracle internals which was bit difficult. Third session was on Informatica powercenter which was oriented towards data intergration. When you go to S&P, prepare well enough of the 'know how' of database internals. One of my friend then gave a feedback that eventhough the technologies used are not that much very great. But the interview questions are focussed in areas where its not touched at work.
