SECEP interview questions

I submitted my resume and was contacted by HR within days. I was interviewed by the assistant director and offered a position the same day. The questions I was asked were based on my past experience and my understanding of classroom management strategies. The rest of the interview was spent informing me of the kinds of behaviors and the type of environment I would be teaching in. Most of the information that they provided me with was followed with questions on whether or not I felt I was "cut-out" for this type of teaching environment.

It was over the summer. There were a lot of other candidates there. The interviewer appeared to be in a hurry. I went to the workshop before the interview. The interview was one day and about 15 minutes long. I had to submit a writing sample. The interview was short. I had to submit a background check and a TB screening.I had to bring in three letters for recommendation. The questions were pretty generic.
