Interview
I applied on the company website and 1 day later, I received a text message that I had an interview with SGS Philippines the following day. While waiting for my interview in the lobby, I saw numerous SGS employees. I smiled at them to be friendly and courteous but they all looked away. The guards and janitors were very kind, though.
It was a one-on-one interview with the someone from HR in their office at Chino Roces Ave. It was a calm and friendly interview and she didn‘t really ask hard questions. She just asked me about my internship, what my salary expectations were, what I know about SGS, the most important thing in a company, why SGS, what kind of boss do I prefer, etc. It went fairly well and she informed me of the next steps in the hiring process. If I passed this first round, I would have 1-2 more interviews with the supervisor and division manager and that I would hear back from them in a week. I am still waiting for their call.
