Question 1
Tell me about a time you made a mistake and what steps did you take to correct it.
Interview process was easy, made me feel comfortable and questions were not difficult. Usually average questioned that would be asked in an interview. Interviewed on a panel of 4 people, all very nice.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at SJCOE (Stockton, CA) in Mar 2017
Interview
Applied online, received a call approx three weeks later to schedule interview. The interview was scheduled for just two days after the call.
When you check in they allow you to preview the list of questions for 10 minutes But the interviewer tried to call me in just four minutes into my 10 minute period so I was a bit thrown off by that.
I was also thrown off by there being a panel of six people.
After the interview they give an excel and a paper proofreading test, which I did very well on but it was frustrating that nobody even paid attention that I finished the test so quickly, when I got in there the previous interviewee was still struggling with her test, so they didn't seem to care whether you took 10 minutes or 30 minutes to complete the tests.
