How a company treats you during the interview process is a reflection of how the company will treat you as an actual employee. I received a request for a screening call from the recruiter. I scheduled the screening call, no issues there. The day I am supposed to have the call with recruiter, probably 10 minutes before the call I received an email stating if the call could be re-scheduled to the next day because the recruiter was stuck in a meeting. I responded promptly and said I was not available during the scheduled time for that day but if there was flexibility with the time the call could be re-scheduled to. Never heard back. I followed up again. No response. Basically I was ghosted. It is truly disheartening and unprofessional to treat a candidate in this manner. I understand business needs change but there should be a level of respect and professionalism to let candidates know if a role has been filled or if the business needs have changed. I don't recommend this company and apply at your own risk because it's clear they don't care about the hoops candidates jump through to even be considered for a role.
