Interview
I met a recruiter at an engineering career fair at my school. My internship with a small upstream oil and gas service company seemed to be the key factor in getting invited to an interview. Later, the key thing the interviewer was looking for in me was knowing what being a field engineer entails - long hours on a rig in the middle of nowhere. Since I had enthusiasm for that lifestyle, the interviewer invited me to the second interview. Unfortunately, I declined to proceed with the recruiting process due to personal reasons.
