Staffing Agency(Express, VSSI, TMD are three of the four I remember) gets basic information from you, has you watch a video on Electrostatic Damage and how to prevent it, then quizzes you on it, suspect if you fail you won't get a working interview
If you are to called for a working interview, on the first day you will meet at the staffing agency again, then all drive separately to the workplace and get a basic electronics knowledge test(what certain things mean, basic troubleshooting questions)
Next couple days will be the actual work interview, you just go to the workplace every day you are called(they can ask you not to show after any day), you will be trained on a certain model, and asked to either disassemble or reassemble it without damaging it, finding and pointing out damage might help you, the second day of the working interview will be the same thing but on a different model
if you get hired, you will be paid for the hours you were on premises for the three days, otherwise you won't be paid at all
After you are hired you will be on the line for a good week or two for training to learn the system(which unlike a year ago is somewhat complicated now), and how to troubleshoot/repair specific models(this will depend on your trainer/technician, some are good all around trainers, some are only good for teaching the repair portion)
after which you will be on your own and won't be expected to do quota for approximately a month, after which they will expect you to hit the quota, so take that time to get the quality in, then work on doing more)
its possible this process is completely changed(except the training portion) as management likes to change things.. frequently
