Applied through career fair. Usually they reach out in a month or 2. But I reached out to the manager on LinkedIn, he immediately called me to talk. Later had an on site interview followed by offer. The initial phone call from the manager or any one who reaches out to you will be based on your skills on your resume and later on they will talk about what they are looking for. It was pretty easy, just getting to know each other and the work requirements kind of a call. The on site interview usually takes place right after the phone call in a week or 2 or (depends on managers availability). A couple of people come and talk to you about the role and few very basic questions about the skills they are looking for. No coding question; maybe just some technical questions but nothing you have to pen down on a paper. Just be confident and show enthusiasm. Prior experience in the skills they are looking for will be a plus. knowing someone on the inside is a huge huge huge plus.
