Disappointing Recruitment Experience
I recently applied for the Licensing Coordinator role at this company and was excited about the opportunity. However, my experience with the recruiter was one of the most disappointing I've had.
The recruiter reached out to me stating my background was the perfect match for the role not knowing I already applied on the website. Despite my prompt responses, there were significant delays and communication breakdowns throughout the process. The recruiter took a week to respond with a scheduling link, and later asked about scheduling a call that I had already confirmed. When I tried to reschedule due to a holiday conflict, I received no response.
I took the initiative to reschedule and confirm, but the recruiter didn't respond until after the scheduled time, claiming I didn't show up. This lack of communication was frustrating and felt like it ruined my candidacy.
In addition, I tried reaching out to the talent acquisition manager, who assured me that she would investigate the issue and follow up. However, she completely ghosted me, failing to respond or address my concerns. As someone who has worked with various recruiters and is married to a talent acquisition manager, I've never seen such disregard for candidates. This experience not only reflected poorly on the company but also denied me the opportunity to interview with the hiring manager.
The recruiting process left a sour taste, and I would caution others to be prepared for similar treatment.
