Asked to come in and complete application process and test. The application was very routine. The test was done with paper and pencil. No computer involved. The test consisted of basic math, folding of a piece of paper to make an airplane and counting of over one hundred metal objects among other things which did not pertain to the job that I was applying for. Questions were asked about the purchase order process that the company utilizes. An outside applicant would not have this knowledge. Very sad situation. My advice is "run" don't walk away from this company. They don't know how to respect an applicant that has experience and a college degree. Very disappointed in this family owned business. The interview process is like something from the early 1900's. If you don't pass the "mental interview test", they don't have a hiring manager available to talk to you. Everyone takes the same mental interview test, no matter what job you're applying for. What an absolute joke of a company! Management wise up, this is 2017.
