Sabre Director, Sales Engineering interview questions

I was contacted by a recruiter who went over the role and basics with a follow on of 5 additional interviews. Twice I was asked to change my times with interviews at the last minute as well as literally getting a text with a request to meet with someone within 30 minutes. Ultimately I got a voicemail from the recruiter saying my salary expectation was far in excess of the salary band that was given when I had my initial call and that we wouldn't make anything work without. Yet I never shared a salary expectation and simply said the provided salary band was acceptable. Though the recruiter offered to have a call to discuss, thus far has not returned my call or email.
