Interview
I was called to schedule an interview a day after I applied online.
A few days later, I arrived early at Safeway for my interview. I wasn’t told over the phone where in the store to report to or to whom so I checked in with front desk employees. I was kindly asked to have a sit at Starbucks or by the restrooms and the interviewer would come and grab me. The interviewer arrived 16 minutes later than my appointment time and after we greeted I was escorted to the very back.
My interview was held in a small and secluded room in the receiving department. My answers were recorded on paper and there were periods during the interview where a bailer located just outside our room was in use. I had difficulty trying to focus as the sounds were very loud and my attempt to listen and talk over the bailer became problematic. I’m unsure if there was a door or not but our room was wide open to distractions.
When the interview concluded I extended a goodbye handshake and said thank you. I stood up and proceeded to leave and as I left the room the interviewer yelled at me to get out now in what was a very demeaning tone. Startled, I continued to walk towards the doors leading to the sales floor while passing a few workers who were conversing with each other using vulgar language. She again yelled at me to go straight down through the exit and out. I was not too far to hear nor were there any machinery being operated to warrant such shouting.
I had planned to do my shopping there afterwards but I left because I felt uncomfortable.
In store, we sat down and they asked about my previous work experience and a few other questions. One interview and then a training day with computer modules before starting
good and like any other interview but i went during a job fair so it was easier i brought all my docs and then they called me back nice summer job for teen

They ask about your hours and questions like if you can work with people in a team or alone, they also are a union and do weekly pay, it’s a easy interview process at least for me
