Unnecessarily long interview process, and I was not contacted by the company or by the recruiter with a Yes or a No afterwards. Literally no follow-up. Interview process started off with a "SparkHire" self-interview setup where you use your webcam and answer timed questions. This was super annoying and it required Flash which was funny. I "passed" this part of the interview process and moved into the rest of the bizarre process. So after this, I had a phone call with one person from SageNet's HR department and then moved on. I then spoke to a technical guy who would be working on the same type of work as me. "Passed" this, and moved on. Had a third phone call with the local guy who I would be reporting to. "Passed" this. Had a fourth phone call with another guy at the top. "Passed" this! So, after the SparkHire interview and four separate phone interviews, I was invited on-site! Yay. On-site, I had a video conference call with two folks in a different city. After this, I spoke with Phone Call #3 guy from earlier, along with a random guy who I don't think even worked in the same department. After all of this nonsense was complete, I was given a "tour" of the office. Get this, the guy said he wanted me to talk to ANOTHER lady before a decision was made. That call was never scheduled. I was never contacted by the company with a Yes or a No after I left. SEVEN interviews total. I've never experienced that many interviews for any position I've applied for. SageNet, please remember that these interviews are for the applicant to figure you out just as much as it is for the other way around, regardless of how careful you're trying to be with your hiring process to make sure you get the right candidate.
