      Sr. Product Manager Interview

      Oct 6, 2021
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Salesforce

      Interview

I recently interviewed for a role at SF. My initial meeting was with the recruiter there - a 15-20 minute phone call about the role and why I applied. I then had 30 minute video interview with the hiring manager. Several days later the same recruiter followed up for my feedback and share the hiring manager's feedback. I was moved to final interviews. A scheduler reached out to me to get it scheduled. It was five 30 minute interviews with various people in the organization. They split it over two days to accommodate schedules. Prior to my interviews the same recruiter reached out to me for a 15 minute prep call. We discussed who I was meeting with and a few topics that might be covered. THIS WAS SO HELPFUL. I was able to think of potential real examples and follow up questions in advance. Honestly, the recruiter was awesome.

Great interview process. Recruiters were friendly and responsive. These days most big tech cos make you do endless loops — with SF I had 3 1:1 interviews and got the offer.

      Senior Product Manager Interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Salesforce in Jun 2026

      Interview

Nice and polite verbal tone. But the interview screen was only a short 15 minutes. Not willing to give time for me to ask my questions nor really get to know me. Subtle insider arrogance — listed a lot of jargon and abbreviations, and assuming that I know all of Salesforce’s insider jargon even though I’m an outsider. Tone was weird ... It’s like they expected me to interrupt them during the middle of her talking … but she never actually gave any break or invitation to jump in and explain my qualifications. Very rude interview style wrapped up in niceness.

      Senior Product Manager Interview

      Jan 27, 2026
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Denver, CO
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Salesforce (Denver, CO) in Nov 2025

      Interview

The interviews were 5 individual people plus the insiders program. Each interview only 30 minutes long so very abbreviated. Too abbreviated I think. Mostly seem to be looking for fit.
