      Human Resources Interview

      Oct 24, 2015
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      San Francisco, CA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Salesforce (San Francisco, CA) in Aug 2015

      Interview

Phone screen by sourcer. Told the process would be quick and moves fast and I would hear about moving forward by end of week. After more than a week I followed up and was told process is moving much slower than normal and I would hear soon. Two days later was transferred to recruiter by email. I never spoke to her throughout the entire process of 3 mos. I was set up for video chat with hiring manager; a week later was set up for a video chat with peer level. Each interview the coordinator emailed the wrong day and date of interview ( i.e., Tuesday is 9/1 not 9/3) After a couple weeks I emailed recruiter and was told I would know if I was moving to another step soon. I waited three more weeks and after checking in a couple of times I had onsite with same two people. I was told I would know about next steps the next day. I followed up a few days later and was told team is traveling and I would hear something soon. After another week and a half I received a rejection email. I was never told of the process and it moved slowly and without much communication. Like most companies, lack of follow is how they tell you they are not interested.

      Application

      I interviewed at Salesforce

      Interview

Very thorough and detailed orientated. Maybe 1 too interviews too many as I had to go through 5 rounds of interviews. By the end it was frustrating as it felt as if they wanted to make sure, but 5 interviews is a bit much.

      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Salesforce (Singapore) in Jan 2022

      Interview

Have not heard back from the company, so will put as no offer. 1) 15-30 min chat with the recruiter, where the recruiter shared mainly about the role, and understood my experiences 2) 1h chat with the hiring manager, was given many questions relating to “tell me a time when…” Didn’t like the recruitment experience. - The chat with the hiring manager felt mostly one-way, didn’t feel like it would be a nurturing culture but one that was driven based on business needs. It was focused a lot more on “what did you do”, which was an experience that paled a lot with other companies which were more candid and two-way - Response rate was incredibly long too. Recruiter told me she would respond by EOD, and only updated two weeks later. Hiring manager told me they would respond by EOD, but I haven’t heard from them for weeks. - Recruiter also offered me to ask questions along the way, but did not respond to any of my questions.

      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      New York, NY
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Salesforce (New York, NY) in Jan 2021

      Interview

I was interviewed for two different positions on the HR team. I never received feedback on either. The recruiter did not respond to inquiries. It was an experience wholly out of line with the culture Salesforce tries to promote. And it was troubling that the HR team did not have great processes for hiring HR roles.

      Question 1

Explain how you build relationships with clients.
