I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Salesforce (Tokyo) in Feb 2024
Interview
The interview process included 5 steps. Phone screening, 45-60 min meetings with the line manager, the hiring manager, the regional manager, the head of the team, It was a very pleasant conversation. I liked it because they were clear about the challenges they had and what they expected from the person. I only declined the offer because I had another offer for a position that better matched my skill set. I would apply for another position in Salesforce in the future, if it matches my skill.
Interview with hiring manager, moved to interview loop with five people, and then finally to interview with SVP. Seemed a lot more like an interview for personality rather than actual skill. The hiring manager was the only one who interviewed on actual legal skill and even that was very light.
Phone screen with recruiter and then interview with hiring manager. Phone screen was very easy and quick as can be expected. Interview with hiring manager was only 25 minutes, rapid fire questions with little detail about the role until last five minutes when asked if I had any questions. Recruiter never responded thereafter.
