Cold called a recruiter I was connected with through a friend, Secured an interview for the position. Throughout the interview process was screened over the phone by the recruiter, interviewed with the hiring manager, some of his direct reports and cross function team members. In the end I was did not have enough background in that the position required. I was lucky enough to be told that I was not a fit by the final decision maker. Overall the interview process was respectful. I knew the product/industry so prepping for the interview was not super challenging.
