Interview
First step was an hour-long telephone interview. Comparatively, it was long and excessive. Standard HR questions and no surprises with this step.
Second step, an in-person interview which was over before it began. The Director of Finance barely made eye contact in the interview and it was clear that my age killed my candidacy. Again, the interview was over before it began. I was highly qualified for the position with the exact skill-set they were looking for. Two days after interviewing, they reposted the position on their Facebook page and three days after interviewing, they notified me that they were moving forward with other candidates, which they clearly didn't have as they had recast their net the day prior.
