Here are the most commonly searched roles for interview reports -
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Samsara (London, England) in Sep 2025
Interview
-First things first: the managers are absolutely amazing people, very well educated and friendly
-Products offered are also superb, absolutely great idea and amazing transformation for the “offline” blue-collar sector
-However, I did have issues with the person who contacted me, who had no clue about the role she was hiring from being in-house staff
-I interviewed 3 difficult stages which took hours to prepare until I found out in the final interview, that this role comes with travelling to Europe every 2 (!) weeks
-The role was described as 100% remote, but travelling fortnightly is hybrid, not remote
-The person who found me on LinkedIn had no idea about it and brushed me off instead of apologising profoundly
-She then proceeded to send me a standard email with "we have decided to move forward with candidates who fit better into the description" which is an absolute insult considering that the manager wanted to make me an offer after passing 3 interview rounds
-The person who contacted me took absolutely no responsibility and frankly did not care about her mistake that cost me hours of preparing. She showed no remorse, so I reported her to the top management and head of recruitment
-I did receive an apology from the head of recruitment, however, it won’t give me my time back. The recruiter is probably still working there like nothing happened and this is unacceptable for me. Don’t waste people’s time. Having someone want to work for you is a privilege, not your right
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
-Give examples of a complex deal
-Why did you not reach 200% yet? Do you want to reach it?
-What do the top performers at your company do differently from you?
-Give examples of a time when you missed your quota and why
-Give examples when you did not align with your manager
etc. (everything possible was asked in absolute detail)
Huge misalignment on expectation and lots of misleading information.
If you are offered (or Samsara pressures) to start middle of month or quarter, run. This is a trap to set you up for failure and cut on ramp commissions.
I first spoke with a recruiter for the screening process, which took about 25 minutes. She was late, but was very nice and provided tips on what they're looking for. She sent a lot of follow up information to prep for the next interview round. I then met with the hiring manager who did a deeper dive into numbers and expectations.
5 rounds in total, 1 with HR, 1 with a Sales Manager, then 3 in 1 day: Manager, Director and another Director. Very low acceptance rate. Must demonstrate growth mindset, specific deal metrics, and a natural drive.
