Had three prior phone screens with different managers/recruiters.
Had applied online via LinkedIn for a different role, but one of the recruiters suggested this role would be a better fit for my experience.
Arrived early, and was greeted at the unmanned desk by the recruiter I had last been working with. Got checked in, and shown a bit of the office.
Upon walking into the meeting room I was gifted a chocolate bar from one of their clients, and they had a welcome note written on the notepad.
The interview was *supposed* to be four people, back to back, over two hours. I had blocked the time on my day for such. Three were going to be in person, one was over video chat.
The first two were fairly simple - #1 was more history, resume, overview. Interviewer #2 was more interested in logistics of how my sales cycle works.
After the second, the recruiter came and said the others were unable to make it due to an "emergency meeting due to the end of the quarter" (red flag - if you're worrying at the last day of the quarter, it's worthless since you can't fix any mistakes by that point). She said they would be talking about when to bring me back for a re-do with the other two.
I emailed to say thank you, and to follow up and got no response - which to me is unprofessional in respecting their applicants time and shows this company is not where I would want to be working anyways; on top of seeming like the "emergency meeting" was just a lie to get me out of the conference room.
