      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Samsara in Jan 2022

      Interview

This interview was strange and unfair. I never spoke with a recruiter or the hiring manager, despite the email stating I would meet with the hiring manager. Instead, I met with an inexperienced young person in this same job role. Why would they have me interview with a peer first? Of course, he would probably pick his peers or someone less experienced to move forward. This tells me there is no true leadership at this company or over this department. The questions weren't based on my experience, just random questions such as "how would your friends rate you?" They probably were just meeting their diversity quota interviewing me. The interview and the reviews about this company told me a lot about it internally. I'm glad I dodged a bullet.

      Question 1

"What would your friends say about you?" Ridiculous interview question!
