I got a call from talent acquisition representative to set up a 45 minute Skype interview. A week after, the director of the department called me on Skype and he was much interested to know if I require visa sponsorship. When I said yes, he lost interest and rushed to close up the interview. Throughout the interview, he seemed uninterested and unprofessional and also took breaks in between. How come an interviewer never look at the visa sponsorship spot in the job application before they invite candidates for an interview?
