I applied via LinkedIn. Got a callback from the recruiter within 3 days. Understood the position, work, product, and set my expectations as part of the first call. The process completed in exactly 30 days. It was a total of 4 technical discussions, 1st discussion with Manager, 2nd discussion with on-site Tech Lead/Software development manager, 3rd discussion with Technical Architect, this round went like 3-4 hours for 2 days. In the 3rd round, the interviewer asked me to come up with a design document for the project which I am currently working on, for which I spent a whole night preparing it but finally, my effort went vain, and then finally 1 HR discussion. The recruiter confessed to making assumptions about negotiating on my expectations and came up with a ridiculous offer after completing the process and didn't even have the courtesy to apologize.
