A recruiter reached out to me and we scheduled a phone call to discuss what I was looking for and the role Scale was looking to fill. It sounded like a good fit so they scheduled a technical phone interview with an engineer and, in the meantime, a call with the VP engineering to hear more about the role. The phone interview went well and they scheduled an onsite, which also went well. Everyone was friendly and enthusiastic about their jobs and the company. I visited again after the onsite to chat some more with people. My recruiter was super responsive and accommodating the whole time, and worked with my timeline without rushing me through the process.

It was very bias. There are a couple of GenZ kids, and they are assessing you very subjectively. Even if you solve the coding questions correctly, they are proposing some stuff to eliminate you.

Take home and then call with a ML engineer for second round. The take home took quite a while to do but was straightforward. I was nervous for the main one so didn't pass.

Applied online. Fist interview was a live coding interview session, dealing with raw data for CV task.
I thought the interview was super easy even though I am more proficient in NLP than CV. I completed everything except for the very last task, for which I didn't have time to finish coding.
