Interview
The first round was great - spoke with a recruiter who asked very thoughtful questions and found many connections between my current job and openings that they were trying to fill. The interview was more like a conversation and I felt very good going into the second round.
The second round, however, was very different, I spoke with someone who was not an internal employee but a sort of consultant that is helping out during this high-growth phase. The interviewer mostly focused on a job that I have been out of for several years, instead of talking about any recent experience - I suspect because that job was similar to what this persons background was. The conversation did not flow at all and felt more like an interrogation. I was not surprised to find out the next day that I did not pass the interview, but I was disappointed as I was very excited about the company.
