I applied online via LinkedIn and had a phone interview with the company a week later. A member of the recruiting team reached out and we had a really great conversation. She told me she was moving me forward to the next stage and that it would be 1) a take-home exercise and 2) a follow-up call with the hiring manager to go over my materials. On the evening of the day of my interview, I received an email from her letting me know that I would be given the guidelines for the assignment the following morning. Tuesday morning came along and I never received anything. I emailed her and sent her a LinkedIn message, but I have yet to receive a response. It's been over a week.
The company is in the position to cherrypick cream of the crop talent, and this is how they treat their candidates. With everything going on in the world and how much this place prides themselves on culture, their recruiting practices are very concerning and makes their brand look bad.
