1. Technical Assessment: NLP or CV toy project with 7 days deadline 2. Phone Interview: Very close to another interview resource found online. 3. Virtual Onsite (4 hours): I was asked to provide dates for the interview to which I promptly replied and notified HR. Now this is when HR went off the radar. I never received any google/zoom invite link for the interview even after I reminded them multiple times (7 days ->4 days->2 days) before my provided availability dates. I was ghosted till the end and later asked if I need to provide other dates as my earlier ones had passed, but received the silent treatment from HR. VERY unprofessional behavior from scale, given I really liked the company's work and was hoping to at least learn more through virtual onsite interviews.

Phone interview: It was related to generating a probability based on order statistics (take 10 samples from uniform distribution and find the difference between the 5th and 6th largest sample; then do this 10000 times to get a list of differences-> Plot histogram for this difference ) . Then, I was asked to identify distribution through visual inspection and formulate a method to approximate parameters of a probability distribution.

It was very bias. There are a couple of GenZ kids, and they are assessing you very subjectively. Even if you solve the coding questions correctly, they are proposing some stuff to eliminate you.

Take home and then call with a ML engineer for second round. The take home took quite a while to do but was straightforward. I was nervous for the main one so didn't pass.

Applied online. Fist interview was a live coding interview session, dealing with raw data for CV task.
I thought the interview was super easy even though I am more proficient in NLP than CV. I completed everything except for the very last task, for which I didn't have time to finish coding.
