I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Scale (Maribor) in May 2023
Interview
One-way remote video interview to self-record. No options for any questions/feedback, very general, weird, not on point, not even asking position-related questions, a total waste of everyone's time. AI generated, feels alienated, not someting you would expect from your future potential employer.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Basic questions regarding past and current jobs, availability and location.
Two easy data structure and algorithm hacker rank questions. The interviewer let me do them in any language I wanted to so I chose Python. I struggled on one of them but he gave me some help and I got through it. The interview was 30 minutes and he gave me 2 roughly 15 minute questions.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Scale in Sep 2023
Interview
General coding assessment questions on Hackerrank. Spent a couple hours each day for a week preparing, then spent a couple hours taking their assessment. Did pretty well. Never heard back from the company about whether I passed or not. I thought it was very unprofessional for them to ghost a candidate who spent several hours preparing and taking their test, showing interest in working for their company.
