      Interview

Most of the other reviews are in line with my experience interviewing and the general feeling (it wasn’t positive) that I had of the company. After a short screening call, I was set up with my future manager for an hour long interview where I had 90 seconds at the end to ask any questions that I may have had. Overall, the entire interview felt lacking on substance, more like filling out a form together than an opportunity to find out more about the role and where I could make an impact. On a Friday afternoon I was contacted by HR and given a practical exercise to complete and a link to set up the next round of interviews. I took a decent portion of my weekend to put together a solid analysis, only to find out that the scheduling link no longer worked. I submitted both my analysis and brought up the link issue on a Sunday night, on Monday morning I was informed that the team had decided to interview other candidates. I’m assuming that they reached out on a Friday with the assignment and follow on instructions, then cancelled the option to schedule interviews in their system, but didn’t inform me while I was doing their assignment over the weekend. I’m still very confused on what happened and feel like they wasted a decent portion of my time.

      Interview

Screening interview followed by a take home exercise and round of onsite interviews. Interview process is straight forward but time consuming - especially the take home exercise. I interviewed with the team members of the BizOps team who were overall nice but very mechanical in following a script. In the end, the hiring manager went silent. I understand you cannot give an offer to everyone but at least have a courtesy to send a rejection email when a candidate has invested significant amount of time.
