Recruiter reached out for a 45-minute phone screen, which was a back-and-forth conversation with his questions sprinkled through out. A coordinator reached out immediately after the interview to schedule the hiring manager call. This was a (very fast) 30-minute interview, immediately after which I received the take home assignment. The assignment was analyzing a set of raw data, building graphs/tables, and crafting a recommendation to leadership - very straightforward for those with consulting backgrounds. You have 5 business days to complete it.
Once you pass the take-home, you advance to the virtual on-site, which consists of 4 X 30 minute interviews: behavioral (Scale credos), cross-functional collaboration, case study, and a conversation with the Director of Delivery and Operations. Unfortunately I didn't advance beyond the take-home assignment stage; soon after I submitted, the news came out that Scale laid off 15% of its workforce (~200 employees), which likely impacted the role I was interviewing for.
Overall, I appreciate that Scale has a really efficient interviewing process. The recruiter said the fastest he's gotten someone through all three rounds was 10 days.
