Contacted by friendly HR staff over email who were very responsive to my questions and concerns. Was contacted by an engineer for the company a few weeks later for a phone interview. The interview is very detail oriented and can range anywhere from analyzing your projects/experience in depth to checking your understanding of various aircraft systems and theory ranging from landing gear and propulsion to wing structures and guidance systems. Scaled wants the best of the best and the most essential thing they want is someone who can utilize hands on engineering experience and a thorough understanding of engineering principles to bring their innovative aircraft designs to life. The engineers also gave very insightful feedback as to your strengths and weaknesses along with what you can do to improve and potentially move forward with them in the future.
