It was supposed to be an audition. I turned up at the appointed time with all the other hopefuls who had applied - it was a very hot Saturday. My wife and I went into the foyer where a very abrupt and rude security guard asked what we were doing there - I pointed to the $4000 1972 Fender Stratocaster slung over my shoulder and said "guess." He then said "well what is SHE doing here?" - this naturally got me a little riled and I simply countered "SHE is with me." he then said "well she has to wait OUTSIDE if she is not auditioning" So Seaworld holds auditions without telling anyone that the cannot bring anyone along to accompany them on the long waiting process?? And if you do bring someone - they have to wait in the car, like a dog? I had a choice between sending my wife to the hot car to wait like an animal so I could audition - or turning on my heels and leaving. I didn't even look back.
