Interview with HR with some general questions. The next step was a coding task 4-8 hours. The task was pretty interesting and straightforward, however, it doesn't contain requirements or how the result will be evaluated. I used some UI component library to make the app look good and spend the rest of my time on functionality.
The company spent more than a week reviewing my assignment and then scheduled a 15 min call (with HR). The recruiter was late for 5 minutes and told me the feedback from the developer who reviewed the coding task. The feedback itself was mostly negative and pointed to the things that were not described in the task description (e.g: I shouldn't use the UI component library, and they were expected unit tests).
Moreover, the recruiter told me that the way I did the task was not a Senior Software Engineer level. I think it was very unprofessional from their side.
