      Application

      I interviewed at Seattle Children's

      Interview

Approximately three week from application to receiving offer letter. Three rounds of interviews. Reference checks through online portal. Drug test, federal background check and immunization were all required to finalize offer.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

More conversational in the screening and second interview. Third round with team centered on budget analysis, time management and general personality/ fit questions.
      Answer question
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Seattle Children's (Seattle, WA) in Sep 2018

      Interview

Initial phone screen, then two rounds of on-site interviews with peers, managers, and the head of the department. In August, I applied. In early September, I had a phone screen and was asked if I'd like to come in for an interview for a lesser role than I applied for. I declined, and a few weeks later a different department reached out for an in-person interview. I then had two in-person interview sessions over 2 weeks. The first was with my would-be supervisor, a manager, and my colleagues. The second was with those folks again and then with the heads of the department. I received an offer shortly after, negotiated briefly, and started a month or so later.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

All questions focused on my experience with the work at hand. A few behavioral questions were thrown into the mix as well.
