Interview
Very enjoyable interview process that lasted a few rounds, unfortunately did not make it to final round interview. Very helpful recruiter and guided me through the steps of the process.

I applied online. I interviewed at Second Dinner (Irvine, CA) in Sep 2024
Interview
Spent 1 to 2 hours researching the company. Ensuring I was a fit. Sent in resume submission with cover letter that I felt fit the company vibe (, recruiter likely disagreed). Received a short canned "sorry" email back in under 2 weeks from a "no-reply@whatever.com" address.

Question 1
They had app submission questions. What's your favorite game? & What games have you played recently?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Second Dinner
Interview
The process was a bit long but it makes sense for what they want and making sure they meet that. I had 2 screenings, one with a recruiter and one with VP. Afterwards, I was given a technical assignment to do that took a couple of hours in Unity before doing a deep-dive interview with 2 more senior developers. After passing that stage, there are 4 panel-style calls where you meet with 2-3 employees of various disciplines and discuss different topics in each. They are looking to see who they all would want to work with and not just whether your prospective manager and the team think you are smart enough.

Question 1
For the tech assignment, explain your reasoning. For panels, they were very standard questions where you "tell them about a time XYZ."
