I applied online, got reached out to by a consultant working for Secrta, who scheduled a 30 min phone call...she was not an in-house recruiter but a 1099 employee from what it seemed. We had a nice call and then she said that next steps would be to take a test. YA'LL. This test took about an 64 mins of my time. The explanations and examples you had to go through to even gain access to the tests don't count within that 64 mins so in total, this was all maybe and hour and a half. of time The test is TIMED and RECORDED...meaning your camera is on the whole time. THEY RECORD YOU. The person I talked to said "don't worry about this test. It's nothing crazy, you'll be fine" She failed to mention to TAKE MY TIME even though the test was timed. So I'm thinking "I gotta get through these questions otherwise my unanswered questions will count against me".............and count against me they did. The test results told me I rushed through and my accuracy was terrible. The test did not mention to TAKE MY TIME. And also, timing it really messes with test takers! Some of the explanations on the test DID NOT MAKE SENSE. You are basically set up to fail with this test. I was rejected the next day. TWICE. Another thing I'll mention - the company has a 4.7 rating on Glassdoor which is odd considering I've never heard of this company and even TOP companies like Amazon, Tesla, Microsoft, Google, and Twitter don't even have a rating this high. When you actually start reading employee reviews on Sectra, they're all the same review over and over, just with different wording...which makes me wonder if someone's fabricating these reviews. At least maybe make them more believable? Anyway...stay far away.
