You better EXCEED every single item listed in the job description. I met everything on the job description -except for one item. And told them so at the onset. Was told that wasn’t a problem. Went through 4 interviews. Then they reject me because I lacked that one item on the job description. Interviews consisted of multiple inquiries as to why I wanted this job. They asked why I had earned each degree or certification listed on the resume. Interview was more a career assessment -questioning my interest in the position - than an inquiry as to fitness for the position.
