Store manager set up an interview right on spot when I turned in my application. I have previous management experience so I was looking for a management position or something similar. I went to my interview with the Store Manager and everything went well. I was told she wanted to have her Assistant Manager interview me as well. I came back in for a second interview and was called about two days later with an offer. Only for a cashier position but was told that I would soon move up to a manager as soon as one was available. I took the position because of the good pay and word that I would get promoted soon. I have been with the company for almost a year now and two new managers have been brought on and I am still a cashier. I am now looking for a full time position to meet my needs, since working part time is not cutting it for me and my experience.
The interview was held as a group interview where we all took turns answering questions. A couple STAR questions (describe me a time you handled this, resulting in this), and a couple personality based questions.
