I applied online. I interviewed at Sephora (Toronto, ON) in Oct 2018
Interview
I had 2 interviews: phone interview with someone from the recruitment and in-person with a store leadership (manager/director). My call from the recruitment was quick, about 15 minutes, and the questions were just the basic ones you usually get asked about when applying for jobs at company. Then he asked about my availability and set me up for the second interview at the store. He was nice and straight to the point, he also emailed me a couple of videos about the company and what its like working for sephora as I spoke about my plan to grow with the company which I thought was a nice touch.
The second one took about 45 minutes, it was 2 days after my phone interview. The store director went over a list of specific and situational questions that the head office/recruitment sent her. She gave a brief detail about the position I applied for and asked other questions that relates to their store's set of clients, working hours, working environment and culture.
Then I waited for a week and a half until the recruitment gave a job offer, it also took a week for the store director to set me up on the onboarding process.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Sephora
Interview
It was simple but they ask you about your previous experiences and the things you like regarding cosmetics whether its skincare, makeup or haircare.
The hiring managers do want you to talk more and express yourself.
You go in person and tell an employee that you have a scheduled interview. They will get a manager to do so and you will be guided to the back for it. Then, there's a small introduction to break the ice and will proceed with the rest which takes about 10-15 minutes. Afterwards, they call you back in about a week or two to tell you if you've been hired or not.

Question 1
Interviewer will ask about your past experiences: "why are you interested in this role", "tell me about a time when...". Following the latter, they'll be curious about your problem-solving skills, so how did you/how will you react to a situation. I suggest you read about the position you are getting interviewed for.
Awesome. Really straightforward. Asked cookie cutter questions to get a feel for your general attitude/personality and your ability to handle adversity. If you are going in for an interview, don't over think it.
