I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Sephora (Orlando, FL) in Aug 2013
Interview
I applied for a brand new store in the area and ended up getting an interview. I am very Sephora material, and am going to school for cosmetology. My interview went well and they said they'd contact me early the week after. No call, two weeks went by..no call. It's now been over a month and I've called twice to check on my status and have gone online to check on my application status (there is no action). I am very upset that they did not call me with a yes or no. Obviously I am very eager and passionate about this position, but I have received no word. I don't think I will be offered the position seeing as the brand new store opens in less than a month. How rude and unprofessional.
Pretty standard interview. A lot of the questions emphasized selling to the customer so focus on that. If they ask what your favourite product is, don’t just say what it is. Try to sell it to the interviewer.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Sephora (Westgate, England) in Mar 2026
Interview
10 minute call over the phone, asked maybe around 10 ish common interview questions. Relatively easiy interview process and then they ask about availability, right to work, etc. at the end.
During the group interview process, all participants were asked the same set of structured questions. These included questions about industry knowledge, customer service skills, and several realistic scenario-based problem-solving situations.
