I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Shawmut Design and Construction (New York, NY) in Apr 2014
Interview
I applied online and it took them about a month or so to get back to me. Once I received the initial call, the process was very fast. Within a week of the initial call I was scheduled for an interview at 10:30 in the morning at the New York office. I got there early and was accommodated immediately. Three interviewers and about 45 minutes later I was done. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I went home with a very positive feel about the whole process. Promptly enough I received a call the very next day offering me the job!

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Shawmut Design and Construction in Mar 2014
Interview
Applied online and was emailed requesting a phone interview. Honestly, the phone interview was the most difficult part of the hiring process. The HR employee asked me about my experiences and some behavioral questions. I was then invited to come Interview at the one of the offices. First I met with a employee in the CMST program. He just shared his experience with the company and asked a few questions. Then a mid-level employee in the estimating department came in and asked a few questions and shared her experience with me as well. I then met with a senior level employee.
Seems like a great company heading in the right direction.

I Met with three workers individually. First a lower level employee, then a mid level employee and finally a department Manager. I was amazed at the professionalism and enthusiasm of every employee I met with. Total time of the interviews was approximately 2 hours. Walked out of the office assured I would get the job.
