Interview
Interview process had three steps. First, you talk on the phone to a recruiter. Second, you visit a store in your area to talk to the manager and take a tour of the store. The second step felt like it was more for me to learn about the job than it was for them to determine if you are qualified. Third, you go to the district office and are interviewed by the district manager or someone like that.
Overall, I didn't think the interview process was that difficult. One thing to know is that there is a decent amount of heavy-lifting. It seemed to me that you'd regularly be lifting 50+ pounds, which effectively disqualified me because I have a bad back.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Sherwin-Williams in Dec 2009
Interview
Pretty straightforward interview. Was asked if I knew anything about the company, then to describe myself, asked about future goals. Interviewer explained the advancement process within the company. Also asked a series of structured questions from a list such as; “tell me about a time when you…”.Was told that I would be contacted and within a day, and got an answer within the specified time.
