I have applied online and was fortunate enough to be referred with one on current employee of the company. I, had a ten min telephone interview as a first step talking about reasons why I have applied for Shopify and what is my current occupation. A few days after, the same recruiter asked for a scheduling a 40 min talk in their head quarter at Bywar Market (Ottawa). The meeting was very informa, mainly about my past experiences, what I have done till now, my high school times,likes and dislikes. I tried my best to impress her by my relevant work experience, she seemed to be happy with the results and I left the office after sharp 40 mins. A few days after, I have received an email from the same recruiter saying theyr are moving froward with some other candidates. They were tried to reach me through my cell phone first but since my phone was dead, she sent an email.
